Just a quick hit to admit defeat! My Alabama Crimson Tide was defeated today by the Florida Gators, and will now likely play in the Sugar Bowl. It was a great game, and I hope some of you watched it. A solid performance by two very good teams. It was one of those games that you hated to see anyone lose, but at the end somebody had too. So a mighty congratulations goes out to the Florida Gators!
Small message for Coach Bob Stoops: As a Christian, you should know that unsportsmanlike conduct is not Christlike, and as the coach, you should set the example.
Now, in the next day or so, I am going to be posting a teaching that I just learned myself today. And that is how to defeat the enemy, the devil. For those that don't believe in a real devil, you should follow along too. It can't hurt, and it can definitely help. See, I have been going at it all wrong. I have fought the devil hand and tooth; especially the last couple of months. I have been going at it all wrong. My spiritual mentor set me straight today, and I will be passing it along to you within the next few days.
So, your assignment: Read the Book of Jude. It is towards the end of the New Testament, and is very short. You should be able to read it in about 10 or so minutes.
And this is the thought I want you to keep in mind: Its all in the rebuke; we have been doing it wrong (especially us Pentecostals)
Until then, God Bless and keep you. May He rain down blessings on you that fill your cup to overflowing, and bubble forth from you and infect all of those around you! (Say that to yourself, and believe it, and then look out!)
