Just think of what the disciples must have been feeling on this day between the crucifixion and resurrection. All their dreams shattered. All that He had told them...lies. All that He promised them....never could possibly happen. "I will never leave you, nor forsake you. I am with you til the end, even to the end of the world", He said, not even 24 hours ago. And now here He was, dead. They had seen Him die. Seen Him entombed. Seen Him sealed. All hope was lost, all dreams shattered by the ringing of that hammer on those old spikes. But guess what???
Then Came The Morning.........................
Hope you all are taking time to reflect on just what that phrase means, He has risen.
He is alive, and we will get to meet Him soon. I would love to see you there! So if you need directions to our meeting place and time, just shoot me an e-mail! Or just start reading the book of John in the Bible...its a pretty good road map, especially the third chapter!

But there is a little catch. There is only One Way. Only One Path. Nothing you can do or say will make any difference on whether you get there or not. It is not about me, you, or anyone else. It is about HIM and WHAT HE DID. What did He do? Why he took your place. It should have been you and me taking those lashes. You should have taken those nails. You should have had that spear cast through YOUR side.
But you didn't. He Did! Just for you.
